Next Meeting – AGM – Tuesday 17th April 2018
CAFA became a registered charity in February 2016 and our committee is currently made up of a few parents and staff. If you’d like to take a more active role in CAFA by joining the committee you’ll be really welcome.
We usually meet on the third Tuesday of each month during term time at 6.15pm and we make sure meetings end within an hour. The next meeting is also our Annual General Meeting and will be taking place on Tuesday 17th April – everyone welcome.

Even if you can’t join us at the meetings we’re always trying to find (time efficient!) ways to come up with events and activities that people will enjoy so if you’ve any suggestions, please do let us know.
Minibus Fundraising – £3200
Having only one minibus is restricting the number of external events students can get to so we’re trying to raise enough to get another one as soon as possible. Many thanks for the donations received recently taking the total up to £3,200.

Fashion and Fizz Night
We held a Ladies’ fashion show back in October 2016 and it was a very popular event so we’re doing it again. The Fashion and Fizz night (there will be Prosecco for sale!) takes place on Friday 22nd June 2018 at 7pm. All clothes featured in the show will be for sale in a variety of sizes afterwards with price reductions of up to 50% RRP on lots of high street fashion brands.
Even if you don’t want to buy anything, please do come along to enjoy the show and support the school. Tickets are £5 each and £3 for under 18s. Tickets will be available from the school office shortly and are now available online – https://mydonate.bt.com/events/fashionandfizz
We’ve started fundraising by collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, even obsolete currency.
Once all the currency has been collected we send it to www.cash4coins.co.uk who’ll exchange it into cash we can use.
The bucket will be in school all year so please keep the coins coming!
It’s not too late to support this year’s lottery. Tickets cost £1 per monthly draw and are on sale throughout the year – please click here for more information and the lottery form. You can pay by sending in a cheque or by direct payment from your bank account.

If your business might be able to get involved with sponsoring a lottery draw, please email us. It costs £30 and in return we’ll make sure you get mentioned on the CAFA webpage, in email updates and on our Twitter feed. We’ll share links to your website and social media pages and distribute promotional materials in school if appropriate.
