SEREN Students visit Oxford University

On the 22nd June, 8 Year 12 SEREN students visited Oxford University. The purpose was to meet Daniel Pugh-Bevan at St Peters College to have a talk about university life and Oxford University in general. Daniel is the Schools Liaison Officer.

Our students were given a tour of St Peters and were able to see what happens to students when they have finished their exams as they were trashed by their fellow students. Luke Ralphs-Davies an ex student of Castell Alun met and showed them around University College Oxford. Luke is studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics. After a guided tour the students visited various other landmarks in Oxford such as the Magdalen bridge and Bodleian Library and other colleges.
