Castell Alun Friends’ Association

The Committee

CAFA became a registered charity in February 2016 and the committee is currently made up of a few parents and staff. We usually meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 6.30 pm during term time but for obvious reasons, this is currently on hold. The fundraising efforts continue, however: if you’ve any suggestions about fundraising activities or are interested in finding out more, please email us at or contact us through our social media accounts.

How the Fundraising is Helping the School

Thanks to your support, CAFA’s been able to help the school out in various ways including a £5000 contribution towards a new minibus and new ICT equipment for the modern foreign languages area. More recently, we’ve funded resources for Performing Arts, Health and Social Care, Business and English and the music department. We’re currently fundraising for PE equipment.

There remains a long list of resources the school and students could benefit from so please do continue to support our fundraising efforts if you can. Thank you.

There are some fabulous prizes to be won, including £500 cash, an Apple iPad and book tokens. Join in via this link.
