On Monday the 3rd of March, 2014, 40 year nine students travelled to Glan-llyn in Bala for a day of outdoor activities, while our spoken Welsh. In the morning we split into two groups, with one doing raft building and the other canoeing, and after an hour we swapped.
The activities were lots of fun and everybody survived to tell the tale with precious few scrapes and bruises. Lunch came next and was most welcome indeed.
In the afternoon there were another two sessions; bowling and team building activities. We attempted to try to keep water in a bucket with holes in using various cunning methods, and then sent messages to each other from the top to the bottom of a hill (which is not as easy as it sounds!) After a day of entertaining challenges, we got back on the coach to return to school, some of us still speaking welsh to each other. Every single one of us thoroughly enjoyed the day and would love to do it over again. Mwynheuais i’r gweithgareddau yng Nglan-llyn, roedd hi’n llawer o hwyl.
