Use School Gateway to make online payments for cashless catering with a debit or credit card any time 24-7, via smartphone app or website at Castell Alun High School. You can also view school meal balances and top them up. In the near future you will also be able to make payments for school trips and other activities.
Aside from saving the school time and money on administration, School Gateway also makes paying for school items easier and more flexible for parents as well as reducing the amount of cash being carried by children on school premises. We would encourage you to use it as part of our move towards becoming a cashless school.
You’ll need: the email + mobile number we hold for Priority 1 contact (we send a PIN by text).

If you’re a new user, the app will guide you through setup in a minute or two.
- Install the app (or open the website).
- Tap New User and enter your details.
- Enter the PIN sent by text to finish setup.
Troubleshooting
A common reason PINs don’t arrive is that the school doesn’t have your current email address and/or mobile number on record. If your details need updating, please contact the school and we’ll get everything sorted so the PIN can be sent successfully.
