Make-Up

Natural discreet make-up is only allowed in Years 9, 10 and 11. Nail varnish, false eyelashes and false or acrylic nails are not permitted in school.

Jewellery

This can be hazardous for certain activities during the school day. Only one ear stud may be worn in each ear. Two plain rings may be worn, but large sovereign type rings are unsuitable. A watch is permitted but no other bracelets, bangles, necklaces or arm bands. Body and facial jewellery is not permitted i.e. nose, eyebrow, tongue studs, spacers etc.

Hair

Long hair must be kept under control, for safety reasons. Extreme hairstyles and colours are not acceptable, this includes shaven heads and grade zero. Natural hair colour is acceptable.

Outdoor Coat

Denims, leather jackets and branded hoodie style tops are not acceptable.

V-Neck Sweater

Black with embroidered school badge *

Shirt

White, conventional style buttoned up to collar.

Trousers

Plain black tailored style. Jeans/canvas or skinny/tapered trousers are not acceptable.

Skirt

Pleated plain black school skirt, appropriate length. Tube, skater or pencil styles are not acceptable.

School Tie

Gold with narrow black strip, Lower school. Black with narrow gold stripe, Upper school – Ties can be purchased from school.

Socks/Tights

With trousers – plain black socks. With skirts – plain black, opaque black tights or black ankle socks.

Footwear

Plain black footwear, that can be polished and are unbranded Trainers, shoes with a sports branded logo, black pumps and boots are not permitted.
