CAFA Committee
CAFA has been a registered charity since February 2016. Our committee consists of dedicated parents and staff. We usually meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM during term time. If you have any suggestions for fundraising activities or want to learn more about us, please email us at CAFA@castellalun-com.preview-domain.com or reach out through our social media accounts.
How the Fundraising is Helping the School
Thanks to your support, CAFA has helped the school in various ways. For example, we provided pens and a time capsule to commemorate the King’s coronation. Additionally, we contributed towards the cost of various trips and made a substantial donation towards refurbishing the counselling room. Moreover, we funded an orienteering package that benefits all pupils and supports the new curriculum.
Nevertheless, there is still a long list of resources the school and students need. Therefore, please continue to support our fundraising efforts. Thank you!

Match Funding
Do you work for a company that offers a match funding scheme? If so, you might be able to help us raise more for Castell Alun. Please get in touch with us to find out how.
Cash4Coins
We are collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, including obsolete currency. We send these to www.cash4coins.co.uk, which exchanges them into cash. Therefore, please save your coins and notes and send them to the school.
CAFA Lottery
Thank you to everyone supporting the lottery. Draws are weekly, and participants can win a local prize and a weekly national draw for £25,000. Anyone can join, and all support is appreciated. Please visit this link for more information and to sign up.
EasyFundraising
Shop with over 3,100 retailers, and Easyfundraising will donate to the school every time you make a purchase. Retailers include eBay, Amazon, John Lewis, B&Q, booking.com, and more. It won’t cost you anything. Signing up to support Castell Alun Friends’ Association is easy – just follow this link, enter your email address, set a password, and your account is set up. You can then shop via Easyfundraising, and we’ll receive a donation every time.
There’s no catch or hidden cost; it’s a simple way to raise extra money for the school.

If you’d like to contribute online, please visit our Facebook page and use the donate button. For cheque donations, make them payable to “Castell Alun Friends’ Association” and mark the envelope for CAFA’s attention.
